Almost Spring 2013

So..Christmas is over...New Year celebration has finished...Bondadagur and Konudagur are over too...Time flies these days...

But 8th of March is still yet to come in a little over than a week...so I am planning to take Mom to a nice dinner at the restaurant in downtown Reykjavik.

We also had a nice women's retreat with colleagues from my work for two days in a summer house :). It was great! Nice food, nice chatting and relaxing...

So, a mini-vacation for myself was a good rest!

Last weekend I took Tamara to a small theater performance for kids - "Karius og Baktus" - the importance of brushing and taking care of teeth. Was fun, only 30 minutes...Then we went for some ice-cream since it was Sunday and Konudagur.

So...Tamara has started doing gymnastics this winter 2013. twice a week for 1 hour each time. We drop her off and then pick her up after an hour - very convenient. Close to our home. She enjoys it a lot since there are two other girls from her kindergarten there as well.

We also continue to study at the Russian school...practicing at home does not go well..Very difficult to get her to read / write and study yet.... But she is learning little by little to read in Russian.
